I woke up late this morning so I threw on this as I ran out the door. One of the many reasons I love dresses. The Heidi dress from Pinup Girl Clothing is one my fave purchases from them. They do a few other versions of this dress in different colours and I’m very tempted by them.
Lipstick is MAC Russian Red. My favorite matte red of all time.

February is Fatshion month, where we celebrate the intersection of fat bodies and killer style. Not only am I making extra effort to dress mindfully, intentionally, and joyfully all month, but I am giving myself permission to do good things for my body. One part of that is updating my wardrobe with a few nice things that will give a lot of variety and wear for the money instead of buying the cheapest thing I can fit into and calling it a day. Since it’s me, there’s magic stuff happening in conjunction because that’s fantastic, positive energy to hook into to work on improving self-confidence and promoting good body image.
To wit, I’ve coveted a Monif C. convertible dress for a couple of years now. The two tone one is on sale for a price I can afford, so it’s on its way to me! Perfect for work and going out. The best parts are that it 1. supports an independent designer of plus size clothes, and 2. it lets me explore a ton of different styles and shapes on my body all in one garment.
